Infrastructure Design and Setup

Design the hotel's IT infrastructure, including network architecture, server configuration, and telecommunications systems. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to install and configure hardware, such as servers, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points, ensuring optimal coverage and performance throughout the property.

Property Management System (PMS) Selection and Implementation

Assist in selecting a suitable PMS that meets the hotel's operational needs and integrates seamlessly with other systems, such as reservations, guest services, and accounting. Oversee the implementation process, including data migration, system configuration, and staff training.

Point of Sale (POS) System Setup

Set up POS systems for various outlets within the hotel, including restaurants, bars, gift shops, and spa facilities. Configure POS terminals, menu items, pricing, and payment processing options to streamline operations and facilitate accurate reporting.

Guest Room Technology Integration

Coordinate the installation and setup of in-room technology amenities, such as televisions, digital signage, room controls, and entertainment systems. Ensure that guest room technology is user-friendly, reliable, and enhances the overall guest experience.

Telecommunications and Connectivity

Arrange for the installation of voice and data communication systems, including telephone lines, internet connectivity, and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services. Ensure adequate bandwidth and network redundancy to support guest Wi-Fi access and back-office operations.

Vendor Management and Contracts

Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and contractors involved in the pre-opening phase. Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure that vendors deliver on time and within budget.
